Visit of Director of humanitarian organization “Gift of Givers Foundation” Dr. Imtiaz Sooliman to Gorazde

Director of humanitarian organization „Gift of Givers Foundation“ Dr. Imtiaz Sooliman from Republic of South Africa visited Gorazde. On that occasion he met Deputy of the Prime Minister of Bosnian-Podrinje canton Gorazde – Minister for health, social affairs, displaced persons and refugees Nazif Uruci who informed him on the current situation in Bosnian-podrinje canton Gorazde, as well as the projects of the Cantonal Government to be presented to potential investors.
Doctor Sooliman is an old friend of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since 1992 he has visited this country several times and has helped its population through different donations, especially donations of medicines and medical supplies. With the help of his contacts in Government of the Union of South Africa Dr. Sooliman managed to provide a big contingent of humanitarian aid, including one mobile hospital for Mostar. Doctor Sooliman had the opportunity to meet Alija Izetbegovic, the first President of the Presidency of BiH, from whom he, for the first time, heard of Gorazde and suffer of its population.
Relations that have been established at that time are not broken even today. Dr. Imtiaz Sooliman is in Bosnia and Herzegovina with his family again with the intention to present this country to his closest friends, the country that, according to him, has the most hospitable people in the world, as well as to get information on the situation concerning the future assistance of his humanitarian organization to people of BiH.
During this visit he met Gorazde mufti and companies “Pobjeda Rudet”, Pobjeda Sport” and “Ginex”.
