Economic event „Days of apple“ Gorazde 22 -24 September 2005

Government of BPC Gorazde supported the event with 8.000,00 KM!
From 22 to 24 September 2005 in Gorazde will be held economic and cultural event „Days of apple“ in which more than 35 big organizations engaged in primary agricultural production and food production will take part.
In distinction from the last year, when this event was organized by the Government of Bosnian-Podrinje canton Gorazde and/or its Ministry of economy, organizer of this year’s event of the fair nature is association Economic and cultural event “Days of apple”, established especially for this occasion. The organizing committee with 11 members, lead by director of farming co-operative “Agropodrinje” Gorazde Mirsad Hubanic makes the final preparations for opening this, in BiH, unique event. The Government of Bosnian-Podrinje canton Gorazde has already supported this event with 8.000,00 KM and it is expected to get a support from the Federal ministry of agriculture, water resources management and forestry, as well as from many partners of this fair. Opening ceremony of event “Days of apple” is scheduled for 22 September at 11.30 am in the town’s Sports hall. Out of the planed activities we single out: exhibition and presentation of raw materials, workshops and round tables under the sponsorship of Faculty of agriculture from Sarajevo, presentations of programs by governmental and nongovernmental organizations engaged in agricultural support, as well as commercial presentation and meetings of businessmen with representative of the competent ministries of the Governments of the Canton and F BiH.
The structure of the fair will be promotional, exhibition- and educational and in the end, the most successful fruit producers from BPC Gorazde and producers owing the best exhibition items will be awarded certificates and plaudits.
It is the aim and intention of the organizer that this event becomes traditional and that Gorazde and this Canton is recognized as one of the most important centers for fruit production both on regional and international level. Taking into account all available resources, this area can really regain its reputation and status of famous fruit producers that it had a hundred and more years ago.
