Award of the highest certificates of merit of Gorazde Municipality on the occasion of 18th September – The day of BPC Gorazde and Gorazde Municipality

On the ceremony arranged on the occasion of 18th September – The day of BPC Gorazde and Gorazde Municipality establisher of companies “Bektointernacional”, present-day “Emka Bosna” and “Bekto Precisa”, Redzo Bekto was made a freeman of the Town of Gorazde because of his extraordinary contribution to the development of Gorazde, culture, sport and humanitarian work. The titles of the honorary citizens of Gorazde were also awarded to doctors Srecko Djikic and Goran Aksamija for their contribution to liberation, defense, peace and freedom preservation and saving hundreds of human lives under most difficult conditions in Gorazde War Hospital.

“Gold medallions of Gorazde” were awarded to watchmaker, Ago Curovac for his contribution to the development of culture and preservation of cultural and historical heritage and old handicrafts, present Minister of war veterans, Admir Pozderovic for his internationally awarded innovations, doctor Mesud Sehic for his extraordinary contribution in the development of health, Sanel Musovic for his contribution to the development of amateurism in the field of theatre art and culture and company “In-she krug” for its positive business results and employment of significant number of workers. Winners of “Silver medallion” are Nafija Hodo, Director of the Cantonal employment service for the improvement of the work of this service and contribution in employment and Easd Subo, President of local community Gorazde III for his contribution to the development of local government in this local community.

The highest Cantonal and Municipal officials, Prime Minister of BPC Gorazde, Salem Halilovic, Mayor of Gorazde Municipality, Mustafa Kurtovic and Mayor of Foca-Ustikolina Municipality, Zijad Kunovac congratulated this holiday to the citizens of Gorazde.
