„Prevent“ inaugurated its new production facility in Vitkovici

Protective equipment from Gorazde on foreign market soon!

In attendance of many guests, members of business community and representatives of social and political life of Bosnia-Podrinje canton Gorazde „Asa Prevent Group“ opened its production facilities of on 19th December 2007 in Gorazde.

Company “Prevent Safety” located in Vitkovici near Gorazde, as a producer of protective equipment and safety gloves, was established by joint investment of branches of company “Prevent” from Slovenj Gradac and Visoko. Current number of 50 employees should be increased to 100 by June 2008. From Prevent’s production plant in Gorazde there will be exported around 50000 pairs of safety gloves yearly to Scandinavian countries and Brazil. “Prevet” bought the production license for manufacture of life-rafts from Zagreb company “Ris” and new investments have been announced too.

“Prevent Safety“ was officially inaugurated by the main investor and establisher of „Asa Prevent Group“ Nijaz Hastor and Prime Minister of BPC Gorazde, Salem Halilovic. The inauguration ceremony was also attended by the Ambassador of Slovenia in our country, Natasa Vodusek.

Within the inauguration ceremony, the management of „Prevent Group“ gave donations to the Association of citizens with cerebral palsy, kindergarten „Sunce“, Home for elderly people and number of individuals.
