Campsite in Grebak-excellent conditions for winter-recreation activities!
Report on recently held event called “Come to Grebak-scouts from Drina” was considered and adopted in the session of Presidency of Scouts Association of Bosnian-Podrinje canton Gorazde. This event was attended by scouts, members of hunter’s clubs and representatives of Army of Federation of BiH.
Proposal that this event, because of its particularity, is included in Calendar of marking important events and dates and financed from funds allocated for this purpose has been adopted in the session unanimously.
Members of Presidency of Scouts Association of BPC Gorazde adopted initiative to request from Federal ministry of defense to allow them to manage campsite “Vrtaca” in Grebak, currently used by Army of Federation of BiH, which could stay empty soon because of reform of defense and restructuring of army. This campsite with all available equipment is ideal place for future winter-recreation center and integral part of Memorial center in Grebak. It was also decided that construction and renovation of campsites and motor camps in resort Sadba near Gorazde and campsite “Pijesak” in Ustikolina is included in priority projects to be financed by International community and other donors.
Campsite “Pijesak” in Ustikolina is determined to be a place of camping of scouts from the area of BPC Gorazde and other parts of Federation of BiH. Beginning from 15 August 2005 there will stay around 120 scouts. Expenses of this camping for scouts of BPC Gorazde will be born by Government of BPC Gorazde and Gorazde municipality.
In this session members of Presidency of Scouts Association were informed on soon publication of second edition of scouts paper “DIN”. Prime Minister of BPC Gorazde Salko Obhodjas in the capacity of vice-chairman of Scouts Association of BPC Gorazde and on behalf of chairman of Scouts Association of BiH Jaksa Stancic presented with a commendation representatives of cantonal television for successful media coverage of scouts school “Ustikolina 2004”.
