Marking the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Great number of citizens attended the celebration

In the organization of the Government and the municipalities within the Canton the citizens of Bosnia-Podrinje Canton Gorazde marked the 1st of March – the Day of Independence of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Cantonal and municipal officials, representatives of veterans associations and representatives of Gorazde Mufti’s office and present citizens laid flowers on the memorial dedicated to the defenders of the town and paid homage to those who gave their lives for the independency of our country.

Later that day there was a painting exhibition in the Town’s Art gallery where 13 artists from this Canton presented their painting works dedicated to the Day of Independence and International Women’s Day. After the address speech by the members of the Association of painting artists of BPC Gorazde, Slavko Klisura and Enver Krajisnik, the exhibition was inaugurated by Prime Minister of BPC Gorazde, Nazif Uruci
