Support of the Government will not be left out!
Prime Minister of BPC Gorazde Salko Obhodjas organized a meeting with the representatives of the Youth Forum of BPC Gorazde. This meeting was also attended by Ministers in the Government of the Canton: Nazif Uruci, Emira Drakovac, Ferid Buco and Midhat Basic, as well as Secretary of the Government Emir Sijercic.
Members of the Youth Forum of BPC Gorazde, lead by Amer Dragolj, outlined a number of information on their recent and current activities and presented some of the planned projects, in which realization they expect support of the Government.
Among other things, they were interested in measures taken by the Government in solving their most essential issues, such as education, participation for accommodation in student hostels, scholarships and sport activities. They presented their Action plan and initiative on adoption of Youth Declaration, as well as projects “One day with the Government” and “Through sport against drug”. On this opportunity they got consent for opening of their web site within the existing official web site of the Government of the Canton.
Prime Minister Obhodjas reminded representatives of the Youth Forum of their role and goals that were set at the time of establishment of this body. The idea was that this Forum has advisory character and links the authorities and young people of this Canton, and in that context he stressed that members of this Forum have to have more own initiative and that they should not wait that somebody else comes with solutions.
All materials that have been considered, the Action plan and offered projects will be delivered to other members of the Government for their attention. Similar meeting should be held very soon, where more concrete tasks and budget for realization of the activities of the Youth Forum should be discussed. This Forum, as it was concluded, has the full support of the Government of Bosnian-Podrinje canton Gorazde, but it should be more active if it wants to realize its function and be the true advisory body of the Government, when it comes to the issues concerning the young people.
