Allocation of funds for business start up
Minister of veterans’ affairs in the Government of Bosnia-Podrinje Canton Gorazde, Dzevad Adzem signed contracts on allocation of outright grants for encouragement of employment and self-employment of veteran population on April 28th 2009. The contract signing ceremony was also attended by Prime Minister of Bosnia-Podrinje Canton Gorazde, Nazif Uruci.
Beneficiaries of this Program have been awarded funds to the amount of KM 10.000 each and the funds are intended for subsidizing the registration costs and payroll taxes in the period of one year, as well as subsidizing the costs of equipment purchase.
According to the Minister of veterans’ affairs, the Ministry provided funds to the amount of KM 270.000 for this Program with assistance of Canton Sarajevo.
The contracts have been signed with 9 beneficiaries who received outright grants for employment and self-employment and on this opportunity Minister Dzevad Adzem stressed that the Ministry of economy of BPC Gorazde should provide incentives for these beneficiaries in order to provide sustainability of their projects.
The Prime Minister congratulated the project beneficiaries on their courage to launch their businesses in order to provide normal living conditions for themselves and their families.
