The newly elected Government of BPC Gorazde began its work
Three and a half months after voting no confidence in the former Government, the Assembly of BPC Gorazde elected new Government on December 1st 2008.
With 13 votes delegates of SDA and SDP supported Prime Minister – Nazif Uruci, Minster of economy – Mustafa Kurtovic, Minister of education – Alma Delizaimovic, Minister of finance – Muhidin Pleh, Minister of interior – Nusret Sipovic, Minister of justice – Radmila Jankovic, Minister of urbanism – Vladimir Nedimovic and Minister of social affairs, health, displaced persons and refugees – Demir Imamovic. Delegates of the Party for BiH voted against this proposal. After the minority government of SDA was supported, the delegates of the Party for BiH left the meeting and the Prime Minister and new Ministers took their oaths of office in their absence.
The new Prime Minister said that priorities of this Government were revision of budget for 2008 and draft of new budget proposal. Right after the meeting of the Assembly, the newly elected Government held its first constituent assembly chaired by new Prime Minister, Nazif Uruci.
