On the occasion of the ninth anniversary of the existence and operation of Radio and television of BPC Gorazde Prime Minister of Bosnian-Podrinje canton Gorazde Salko Obhodjas along with his associates visited this media company. On that occasion he met with the management of the company, the employees and was introduced with the conditions of their work. This event was also attended by Mayors of Gorazde and Pale-Praca municipalities Mustafa Kurtovic and Asim Zec, as well as members of the Council of RTV BPC Gorazde.
Sending the message of congratulations and whishes for successful work in the future, Prime Minister Obhodjas promised help in debt repayment of this company to the amount of over 100.000,00 KM. The Government of the Canton in co-operation with Gorazde municipality will make maximum efforts to help Cantonal Radio and television overcome this crisis, it was stressed on this occasion.
It was also discussed about provision of new equipment and realization of planed tasks.
“The only thing that the Government of the Canton asks of you is objective and professional informing, without any involvement in your work or any party influence. It is our whish that you offer prompt and correct information to residents of this Canton and any criticism, if well-intended, can only help to our better mutual understanding and co-operation”, said Prime Minister Obhodjas.
Messages of congratulations have also been sent by the Mayors of Gorazde and Pale-Praca municipalities, who emphasized the importance of this media for all residents of the Canton, as well as their readiness to help RTV BPC overcome the current problems.
In gratitude for these congratulations Director of RTC BPC Gorazde Jasmina Cohodar said that through efficient work of all employees, own incomes of RTV BPC Gorazde were considerably increased, although not enough to make repayment of the existing debt. She announced change of the program schedule, as well as improvement of program quality, which depends on provision of new equipment since the existing equipment is old-fashioned and in bad condition.
