Alen Muhic, student of 6th grade of primary school “Fahro Bascelija” and main character of a documentary film “A boy from a war film” made by Semsudin Gegic, got a computer with all accessories and internet connection, present of the Government of Bosnian-Podrinje canton Gorazde.
Prime Minister of BPC Gorazde Salko Obhodjas along with his associates handed over this present to Alen Muhic on 27 October 2005, keeping the promise that he made when they last met before the premičre of film “A boy from a war film” held in Gorazde.
At that time, a prominent director and author Semsudin Gegic and a part of the team from “Flash” production, in which production the film was made, visited the Prime Minster along with Alen and his adoptive father Muharem. This film has had a big success at many film festivals worldwide. Film “A boy from a war film” is a story about a boy who was born in the war hospital in Gorazde, whose mother was raped by members of Serbian army and who left him after the birth.
This moving story reveals emotions and speaks of humanity and it should break the silence, because, according to its author Semsudin Gegic, it was made to be a caution and a model on how the society should think about the children like these.
The present that Alen Muhic got from the Prime Minister and the Government of BPC Gorazde is one of indicators that those who can help have not forgotten this boy, who, in spite of his moving fate, lives in a happy and loved aegis of family Muhic from Gorazde, which adopted him right after the birth. Making no secret of the happiness for getting this present, Alen thanked to everybody who helped him in making his big whish of having computer come true and promised to send his first e-mail to the Prime Minister’s address.
